The Temple of the Quiet Star lies in ruins.

Branded a traitor by the Council of Zenith and hunted by the very Order he once served, Evander Drake rides alone across Altheryon, racing to warn distant sanctuaries before the same fate befalls them. With every league, the net around him tightens, and the ideals he devoted his life to defending seem further away than ever.

Yet even as the Council spreads its version of events, those who know Evander best refuse to believe the lies. Elowen Drake, Kaelen, and the disgraced commander Thalen Wolfe set out to uncover the truth, while Serenya searches for answers of her own amid the ashes left behind.

As old loyalties fracture and whispers of rebellion grow louder across the realm, Evander must decide what remains when duty, faith and honour no longer point in the same direction.

For if the Light is to survive, someone must be willing to stand against those who claim to speak in its name.
